Satanism is a belief,a philosophy...w/the same frame as other religions are to its believers throughout the world.
We are real everyday people living ordinary everyday lives.
Our religion is held sincerely so there is no reason for the insincere to flaunt it around for sake of childish attention starved shock-value.
If a "said-Satanist" dresses the hollywood part on a reg basis,then it can seem quite apparent as to where his/her true reasons for proclaiming such a tag stem from.
Sure,some are into a gothic lifestyle,and that is fine...but even then it can easily play into question for quite a few which I care not to go into(afterall,its  just one man's opinion).
If you dress like a monster,expect to be treated like one!
As for the rest of us...lol...if we wanted to exploit and make fun of our religion we would already be doing so. Therefore there is no need for help in that area. ;)
We are a sincere,serious minded,realistic people.
If some of you "serious-goths" out there wanna help ole' Scratch along you can begin by refraining from running around your towns/cities throwing the cadaver look and declaring yourself a Satanist all in the same sitting.
 The majority of us do not act nor dress the stereotypical "D&D obsessed-creature feature part" that has become to be expected by many.
We arent "that" easy to spot,sheesh.
Many of you walk past me/us in the bank,grocery store,make our aquaintances and yes,even KNOW many of us,etc...all on a regular basis and never have a clue,lol.
The funny part is that if forewarned ahead of time,it is no profound  theory that these instances would be strongly avoided.
I am a home owner,a tax payer,a father, a husband,a NEIGHBOR...I am a law abiding citizen of this country.
I do not engage in drug use,criminal acts,killing/sacrificing nor any other stereotypical jargon that many so ignorantly believe of a Satanist.
I am probably more responsible,self reliant,strong,loving and trustworthy than the majority of cattle in this world.
I dress conservatively (and  in an assortment of colors,believe it or not!).
I enjoy things such as reading philosophy and spending time w/my pets(you mean I dont sacrifice them to da' devil-man?)
I attend city meetings and go to church on Sundays(just kidding about that last one hehe ;)
The point is folks that I/we live normal lives just like the rest of you.
Many of us are just as boring as the rest of you as well ;)
I am a Satanist...we are Satanists and yes folks, "we are all around you."
Is your neighbor a bad guy? Do you think he/she may be a Satanist?
How about your brother/sister/friends?
What about mom&dad? (lol,I honestly know quite a few of those scenarios,lol)
"They couldnt be Satanists", you say.
To this I simply reply;
"All Satanists I know are at least one of the above to someone they know and most of those they know........don't have a clue."
